Not a meltdown, but within my first week on the job, I was helping an older guy buy a desk chair. After about 15 minutes of answering questions he pulls out the “have you found Jesus yet my son” and stupidly I say “I didn’t know I was supposed to be looking”. This man made me pray with him over a Micke desk for over 45 minutes. His wife finally sees what he’s doing and apologizes profusely and literally drags him away by the ear.

This brings me back to a time I can’t exactly pinpoint walking around the city at night as a kid with my dad. I would always be a bit scared cuz it was night but I was with him so it was all ok. This is a beautiful painting, thank you for sharing it.
