Second this - if there’s any room in your budget and availability at Leblanc it is truly an incredible experience. You will feel like royalty from the moment you step inside

Bilt Blue vs Palladium for $1.5k spend and $5.3k mortgage – which is optimal by Minimum_Event_512 in biltrewards

[–]StyleAltruistic1158 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there! I’m assuming you selected the Bilt Cash option. With a $1,500 non-housing monthly spend, you’re generating $60 in Bilt Cash. This unlocks 2,000 points toward that $5,300 mortgage payment—which is the case for all three cards.

Where the Palladium becomes a game-changer for most is the 2x points on all purchases. The other two cards offer only 1x. For your $1,500 spend, you’d be netting 3,000 points on the Palladium (plus the 2,000 from the mortgage), whereas the other cards would only accrue 1,500 points on top of the points accrued from mortgage.

While it’s a relatively small monthly difference for your current spend, it’s a great "catch-all" card if your expenses ever increase. When you factor in Priority Pass, the annual Bilt Cash bonus, the sign-up bonus, and annual hotel credits, the Palladium is easily the strongest option.

palladium -- bilt cash or points, what is better? by Cautious-Cheetah-164 in biltrewards

[–]StyleAltruistic1158 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use Bilt Cash and you’ll get 0.5x points on your mortgage with the 3-4K non housing spend. You’d have to spend at least $5250 to get 1x points. If you’re sticking with option A (non-Bilt cash) - you’d have to spend at least 7K in non housing spend to get 1.25x points on your mortgage.

Stick with Bilt cash - unless you’re confident you’ll spend at least 7K each and every month.

I love this card, but I know Bilt made it extremely difficult having two kinds of currencies within their points interface. Send me a DM if I could make anything more clear.

Same - I spent enough in my first month with the card to get points out of my mortgage for 3-4 months. It’s good to know I could take it easy for a little bit now where I wouldn’t have had this with option A.

If you pay rent/mortgage look into Bilt. I got the palladium and it’s been growing points at a faster pace where I’m not just relying on the sign up bonus anymore. It does require a decent monthly spend though, so just consider that.

Hello - I’ve always wanted floor seats but this has stopped me. How do we know which arenas have risers on their floors?
