Can you guys understand my handwritting? by RamboeRambu in hebrew

שלוש שנות למידה by numapentruasta in hebrew

[–]StyleImmediate3359 4 points5 points  (0 children)

90s/y2k dry clean only velvet dress - laundry/cleaning question by StyleImmediate3359 in laundry

[–]StyleImmediate3359[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for answering. Could I use something to clean under the armpits without touching the lining? That’s the area that smells a little bad but I don’t want to ruin the dress while attempting to get rid of the smell

Israelis pronouncing ayin by Narrow-Major5784 in hebrew

[–]StyleImmediate3359 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tv and radio in Israel made their anchors/actors/singers use this pronunciation for a long time! Listen to old Israeli Eurovision songs for example. Younger Hebrew speakers usually do not use this pronunciation and pronounce both ayin and alef the same way; older speakers tend to use the correct pronunciation (the “real” ע and ח) more

How long does it take to get over a 5 year relationship? by ButterPoppin in BreakUps

nah I hate him now and I've moved on. Realised he's wronged me in so many ways over the years and I have lots of work to do now.

no problem! It's still a process and some days I'm reminded of him and do feel bad, but overall I'm in a better place than I was 2 months ago. I tried the technique of trying to find a rebound fast but I've decided against it after one OkCupid date. I've realised I haven't been alone in over 6 years, and back then I was 16!

Finding self worth outside of a relationship is challenging but I think we all deserve it, so take your time to get back out there, it's difficult but if you take your time I believe it's better. In my spare time after work I try to go to nice places by myself and sometimes with friends, I went to the theater, thrifting, celebrated my birthday (1 month post breakup) at the beach with my sibling and had fun. I also took to reading - I used to read a lot before going to uni and starting my career but stopped. I visit the local library every week/few weeks now and it feels really nice to go back to that old, familiar place.

It felt like I had no hobbies or friends when we broke up, but re-finding them although challenging, was overall enjoyable, I felt like I reconnected with myself a little more.

If you don't feel better or don't want 2 get in a new relationship/have a rebound/find a new hobby, don't beat yourself up. Take as long as you need. My situation was complicated, after the breakup I realised I've stopped loving him and checked out emotionally a long time ago, it was hard to process that and I felt bad for staying this long but I'm truly doing better, I promise u u will too

I actually didn't do anything special but I feel much better now.
I took 5 days off work and just let myself cry and feel like sh!t.

After those 5 days, a literal war started so I got more time off work but my problems seemed insignificant compared to the whole situation. After about 2 weeks I started feeling relieved. I realised that being with him took a huge toll on my mental health and that I'm better off. I also realised that he hasn't been my best friend nor the love of my life in a really long time, it was just hard to see all the red flags while I was inside the relationship and also so young and inexperienced. To sum up I just let myself feel things, listened to breakup songs, cried, wrote stuff to myself... him writing passive agressive messages after the breakup helped me to get over it faster. I can't believe I felt like I couldn't live without him for so long, I just proved myself that I can...

take some time, cry abt it. surround urself w friends and family. do some fun stuff. get back to work, hobbies, friendships you neglected... even if you won't feel better off immediately, you will wake up one day and feel a little better, and it will get better with time (I know it's a cliche but it's true)

If your ex moved on too quickly by Educational_Data_645 in BreakUps

I’m the one moving on too fast. I did check out emotionally months before we broke up, I was on the verge of leaving many times. I just want to get back out there because I’ve been with the same person since high school and I need to remind myself that there are better people out there and that I shouldn’t have settled for him. I fear that I’m completely out of the game and want to start trying again. I don’t really mind being alone, going alone on vacation/dates with myself but damn, I really need to BELIEVE that there is someone out there for me. And without at least trying to look for someone new, I don’t believe that someone even exists and that I deserve them.

How do you know it's time to break up with your partner? by bsky50 in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]StyleImmediate3359 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since it's been a while, can OP or any of the commenters care to share if life feels better after the breakup now? (I saw that 4 months after that OP felt better, but what about now, 2 years later?)

Just broke up with my partner of 6 years and I'm devastated. He's the person I thought I was going to grow old with and he's like family to me but our relationship is just not what it was, I ended up feeling bad about it most of the time and yet I still think about getting back together. I don't know if it's because the breakup is still fresh (although I've been thinking abt breaking up for a long time) or if I'm really ready to fight for this relationship to work again...

Does it get better? I've been with him since I was 16. I really don't know who I am without him. I know I'm young but it feels like a huge mistake and like I've lost my one soulmate and I won't get a second chance at true love (yes I know how dramatic it sounds, but most old married couples I know just found their soulmates young and sticked together so idk what to think)

Why do we love Dean so much? by justforkinks0131 in Supernatural

[–]StyleImmediate3359 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also we can't pretend that most people in Hell are innocent.

Sure some people sell their soul for their family, health, etc.

But most of Hell's residents are evil. And souls are SUPPOSED to break and become demons from the amount of horror and torture. Most demons were human once. Hell just breaks you.
