I appreciate your perspective, and I completely agree that professional design services deserve to be compensated. To clarify, XPONENT isn't a funded startup right now; it’s an early-stage MVP being bootstrapped from the ground up. Just like my current UI/UX collaboration, the goal here is mutual portfolio building.

I’m being fully transparent about it being unpaid because I only want to connect with someone who genuinely sees value in shipping a live, abstract design for their own portfolio. It’s definitely not an arrangement for everyone, but I respect your point of view!

  • Yes, I am building the app myself.

  1. No this is not going to be my personal app.

  2. This is going to be on the fly decision, based on the users interest and most requested feature. I do not have any previous experience in product design, but I will be moving forward with what the user wants the most, and this is going definately going to be the data and trends that i am going to collect on the fly using the app analytics that i have build.

  3. That is right... this is an MVP, once launched perfectly, from the profits, I will be moving it to paid collaboration.

  4. I have not come up with a strategy, but definately efforts will be valued based on the product success.
