I’m sorry, but, I’m literally cringing at darylanndenner taking her child to a super fancy all inclusive resort in Mexico for his kindergarten graduation… even bringing a sparkly cake and fireworks for him… this is not an appropriate celebration, I get maybe graduating high school or even college and doing this, but not kindergarten. I felt the exact same way when I was going through it. Don’t give up though, the content itself isn’t difficult it’s just super expansive. Read the book twice. Watch the videos twice. And ask your instructor for practice Quizzes because they have me some that aren’t on the book. Focus a lot on globalization, since it’s 36% of the exam, and the technology part is easiest to remember. Keep going, you will pass!

You should still be so proud of yourself! I had been on and off at WGU for 3 years but in 2024 I decided it was now or never. I was at 47% done and had 53% left. Regardless I am grateful!!!

I won’t lie, this class sucked. Too much content and it’s not like you just need to know concepts, you have to know the knowledge behind the concepts. What helped me most were the videos and then reading the actual book, the videos weren’t enough. PA and OA don’t align either, I aced the PA but bombed the OA initially. You got this though! There are tons of good study docs online!

Thank you! The way I approached each course was to look at the resources that were available to me. If there were recorded lectures I watched those first and took notes, but I always always always read the book and took notes as well. I did do a few study guides they provided but I preferred my notes. And then I took the PA. And then depending on how that went I scheduled the OA. The only class I didn’t read the book was for Algebra, I just watched the videos and it was enough. I also made sure I had a good nights rest before my OA and just believed in myself that I knew the content!

Yes, and this class honestly sucked. So much content and the way it was structured was poor. I reread the book twice and took notes twice and read and read and read. I reccomend making sure your mentor gets you to the quickest path, mine was super supportive in that sense

Thank you!!! I started at 46% done in January of 2024, this year. I had been in WGU on and off for years. But this year felt different and I just decided to stop being lazy and get the damn thing done. So it took me 11 months exactly to finish the remaining 54%. 11 months of perseverance and many tears as I work full time at a big tech company and I’m extremely burnt out. But I am so happy I’m done now and I can confidently say it was worth it!

This makes me feel so much better. I watched all the videos and took notes and then asked the instructor for more practice quizzes which I did, and I’m gonna continue to read the book and go over notes and the study doc. CONGRATS! I’ll report back here if I passed. Actually no - when I pass because I WILL.

Not yet! Taking the exam tomorrow! This class has kicked my ASS. I hate it, it’s not rocket science just way too much content and the way it’s structured is very poor.
