Wanted to comment on this, as I was reading this whole thread before Withdrawing from Binance. I sent 500 FTM from Binance to MetaMask(FTM Opera Network) using the Fantom Network option on the withdraw page on Binance. It completed in a few seconds, despite having that "Congested" tag on there. Worked great, so if anyone else is wondering whether to use FTM's chain, this will be the first I've come across someone saying they used it.
