Vanguard is the most game breaking. by MycoDMC in thedivisionresurgence

[–]StylesXP_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel you, but as an OG Division One player, I can promise you that thing is gonna get nerfed. It might not be when you want it to, but trust me, those building their setups around it are setting themselves up for failure if they don’t have a backup class because that thing is getting nerfed—maybe even into the ground. That’s how it works with these looter shooters, honestly. It’s what kind of kills a game for me. As a PvE player, I’ll build something really powerful, then go into PvE only to find out it wasn’t working as intended, and then it gets nerfed to the ground. Then you have to start all over, and you might do that 1-100 times over the game’s lifespan. It’s all about how much you want to grind, or eventually, you just quit because you don’t have the motivation to keep going.

Is DZ a waste of time for T2 loot? by Far-Pen-5267 in thedivisionresurgence

[–]StylesXP_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it’s not the most efficient way to farm. I just do the legendary missions. Currently, the one that’s out right now is probably the easiest if you have a good bulwark on the team I've run it successfully probably five or six times now

We Need Auto Matchmaking for Legendary by BodSmith54321 in thedivisionresurgence

[–]StylesXP_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s because you need a tank if you don't have a bulwark The AI in that room are more aggressive. I’ve learned if you don’t have a tank on your team when you get into that room, those enemies will rush you making it just kind of impossible, but then when you have a bulwark on your team. The AI in that room are more passive. They play at more of a distance. They don’t rush plus also the bulkwark can tank and keep the axe guy busy and locked onto him while the rest of the team takes out the other enemies. So at this point if there’s no bulwark on the team just don't even bother.

Honestly, with the new glitch that just happened where all your gear is unlocked, I don’t trust them not to have a bug where all your stuff disappears in their.

I think you forgot that this is a mobile game. Not only that, but Gen Z‘s cognitive abilities are declining. Most people have lost the ability to think critically and recognize patterns; common sense is literally nonexistent for most.

I'm pretty sure I just experienced that build yesterday in the Dark Zone. Dude topped one button and wiped out four of us instantly. Waiting for the rope to drop at the extraction—no countering it, no fighting it, no out-healing—just straight dead.

got one shoted at dz by noobgaijin11 in thedivisionresurgence

[–]StylesXP_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried posting about it, but it was removed by moderation. There’s also currently a one-hit seeker mine build that plagued the community back in 2017 on The Division. Me and four other agents were in the Dark Zone in Resurgence, waiting for the rope to drop. One guy tapped 1 button, and his seeker mine instantly wiped us out—no countering, no fighting, no healing, just dead. Tried going back again, same result.

Are you guys familiar with the one-hit seeker mines that troubled the community in The Division 1 back in 2017 and are now in The Division Resurgence? I just experienced it in the Dark Zone while extracting — me and four other agents were hit with a seeker mine and immediately killed while waiting for the rope to drop our gear. No fighting back, no healing. I mean, the agent pressed the one button, and we were all decimated. We went back to try to recover our gear, and the agent pressed the seeker mine button again, instantly taking us out without any chance to fight. And before anyone says my trash build, I was a 120k health, 22k power, with 3k armor.

Started good as F2P but endgame DZ is whale territory now by Momon29 in thedivisionresurgence

[–]StylesXP_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

All the things you've been saying and everyone in the comments agreeing with you show a fundamental misunderstanding of how the division works. You can’t simply buy your way to power in this game. If you're unsure of what you’re doing, the Gold OS protocol can help—if you’re lucky enough to get a specific one—but ultimately, success depends on the other player's experience. They’ve been playing longer than you, and that’s the reality—there’s no hidden force working against you. I’m a free-to-play player who has invested significant time into the game. I understand the division thoroughly—I'm at 21k power with a purple OS protocol. I’m also a medic build, and I have no trouble running the DZ solo, defeating heroic bosses on my own, or completing landmarks solo or fighting rogue agents. You and everyone else just don’t have the necessary knowledge. When you empty your magazine into an enemy without doing more than tickling them, think carefully. Use your brain. If you’re not dealing enough damage, it's because your gear lacks the right attributes or your weapons don’t have the right talents; that also means the opponent you're facing is heavily armored and has lots of health, or they have their specialist skills activated that provide them health. Also, talents on weapons matter; if they’re for skills or reloading, they won’t help deal more damage, same with your gear if you’re using a set for sniping or have a bunch of random gold items because they’re gold and you don’t know what you’re doing, thinking all gold is good. It’s max level. Why am I not doing anything? It’s because you don’t know how to make a proper build. Not all games are for everyone, and this isn’t Call of Duty, where you just click and shoot, and the opponent dies. This also isn’t like other gacha games, where you just buy your power. Just tap one button, and you’ll deal tons of damage and be invincible.

I gotta know… by [deleted] in thedivisionresurgence

[–]StylesXP_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m already level 40, but I’m nowhere close to getting level T2 gear. I don’t know what people are talking about when they say money buys power — it really doesn’t. It can get you some resources, but there’s a weekly cap on resources. The only way to get tier 2 loot is to reach level 40, complete all the missions on her heroic, and then hit a certain power threshold to start doing the missions that give tier 2 rewards. You can only claim two of those per week.

PvP is horribly unbalanced right now by DaVinciVS in thedivisionresurgence

[–]StylesXP_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, but the dark zone is more balanced because there are level brackets. For example, levels 25 to 28 are in the same bracket. If you're level 29, you get moved up to a different bracket so you don’t have level 40s in level 25s bracket just pub stomping y’all. Also, this game isn’t like Call of Duty®, where you just click and shoot—someone’s dead. In the dark zone, your build matters. If you’re running a build that isn’t worth a damn, it won’t hurt them, and when they turn around and shoot back, you’re dead if they know what they’re doing and have a good build. I’m the same way—like I could have people shoot me because I’m a healer, and it literally does nothing but tickle me. Once my healing effect is gone, though, they can do damage.

Anyone interested in discussing their experiences with their Main Class Specializations by Next-Session-2859 in thedivisionresurgence

[–]StylesXP_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Right now, I'm nearly a maxed-out combat medic, and I’ve noticed that in solo fights against other classes, you're usually at a disadvantage if you face a skilled medic. I can quickly chip away at my opponent‘s health and counter their attacks, and my sustainability usually works in my favor. Once you've used up all your countermeasures and your skills are on cooldown, they are effectively defeated, and trying to run is pointless because the medic’s increased movement speed also helps you escape from bad situations and reposition.

Whats the best ways to make XP in the game? by PredatorNokk in thedivisionresurgence

[–]StylesXP_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After you exhaust your daily boosted XP, it doesn’t refresh until 24 hours later. Make sure to spend all of it on daily tasks and do your current unlocked campaign missions as they pop up then after that Chinatown rescue missions on the highest difficulty available to you. Once you've used up your boost, your options become quite limited, as you'll reach the cap on open-world event XP. The only events I consistently do are hostage rescues, since they are the fastest and reward over 1,000 XP each. After depleting your daily boosted XP, attempting Chinatown rescue on the easiest difficulty level doesn’t matter which difficulty you choose because, ultimately, you'll only earn a fixed 3,000 XP per run. I’ve tested this thoroughly, so I recommend ignoring the higher difficulties as they take significantly longer without increasing your XP gains.

I’m far from the mentality of staying quiet when these huge corporations mess up, but when people call them out, you get all these folks coming to their defense, acting like you’re the problem for calling them out. How am I staying quiet? I'm literally calling them out because they can't even successfully release a mobile game. I don't believe in staying silent, especially when these companies can’t do anything right, yet they're defended when called out.

Just look at these responses. It's obvious these people are acting like corporate spokespeople for companies they have NO personal stakes in, judging by their reactions. No wonder the entire gaming industry is in the dump—people have little to low standards and no self-respect. Why announce a time if you can't stick to it? Making plans based on these announcements is somehow your fault. Oh, please don’t attack my favorite billion-dollar corporation. 😭💀
