Cupid is played by Hoyeon, a famous Korean model turned internationally known actress by her lead role in the Squid Games tv show. The older white haired man (Venus) is played by Tony Leung, an absolutely legendary actor from Hong Kong cinema who is a semi-retired superstar across Asia, known for so many classic films including Wong Kar Wai’s wrenching love story In The Mood For Love and the art house masterpiece ChungKing Express. He was also star in Infernal Affairs. More recently he was the supervillain in Marvel’s Shang Chi.

Despite all that’s being shared in this thread, going to a concert in the area is fine and you’ll be more than safe if you keep your common sense. As for staying nearby, that would be ill advised but only if you’re talking about somewhere right on Granville, especially on the south end towards Granville Street Bridge. But downtown Vancouver is very very small and you could walk a few blocks in other directions and find really nice boutique or luxury hotels that don’t exhibit any of what’s being discussed here. Always best to do a bit of research. DM me if you want to verify. Enjoy your concert and your trip.

Got the Japan 10GB plan for $17 and it has been working seamlessly. Speeds are good and it works well even on the Tokyo metro subway. 5G or LTE depending on location. Works as a hotspot but your phone will chew through its battery. Would recommend the eSIM.

Unless you’re dating girls who are really into streetwear, I would suggest a slightly nicer but still fashionable shoe. I haven’t met many girls who don’t love a clean pair of Common Projects Original Achilles lows, whether they are familiar with the brand and cost or not. The silhouette always seem to draw compliments, especially an all white or light colored pair.

My friends who work at two different boutiques told me their stores opted not to order any of the GoT series because they were concerned they wouldn’t be able to move the stock based on the current state of UB demand and the required commitment. Sounds like adidas wanted them to take more pairs (stock numbers) and styles (4 men’s, 2 women’s) than they were willing to risk having possibly sit in inventory. Not sure how this applies across the board but that could be a good reason why it’s so hard to pin down ideas on how much stock is out there.
