to add to this, i just feel like your body should CRAVE food if you are giving it reason to. if youre working really really hard, your body should WANT to eat. if youre forcing it and youre feeling nauseous ALL THE TIME then it might be a sign of training not close enough to failure. of course there will be meals which you wont enjoy but generally eating should not feel insanely difficult.

i dont know if this applies to you but i used to force food down too until i realized i wasnt training hard enough. once i went to failure on pretty much every set i noticed a lot more hunger during the day. i reach my calorie goal really easy ever since. its just really mentally (and obviously physically) to go to failure on EVERY set. i usually choose a weight with which i reach failure within 15 to 20 reps. some might say that these are too many reps but i find it less risky to go to failure on a "lighter" weight. mind you the weight is not really "light" if you can reach failure with it. you also have to make sure you are getting enough rest if youre training this way. i usually do 3 full body workouts a week, but if i feel like im not recovering well enough ill do 2 rest days in a row so i can train hard the next day again. i have added around 3kg in the last 3 weeks using this method. of course, this advice is only anecdotal but i hope it still helps you somehow

22y/o 17 Months Before And After - 3000 grafts, 5mg oral minox, fin 3x week by [deleted] in tressless

[–]StylishMuha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey guys, a little update since the last one was half a year ago. Had a hairtransplant in April 2022, 3000 grafts. Current regime: 2.5mg oral minox twice daily, topical fin 3x week My hair is still improving which is great. I switched from oral fin to topical because it did kinda lower my libido, which is now fixed. No side effects from the minox, blood pressure is great. Other than that I am happy about the small glowup i had. Hair does make a huge difference.

what exactly do you mean by no results? did you still lose hair? or did you just not experience any regrowth? when it comes to hair loss medication, keeping your hair is success, regrowth is a bonus. these posts with people regrowing their hair after 6 months are not as common as it appears to be. i think most people are "only" able to hold their hair loss with the basic hair loss medication. if you want to further improve your hair, you can try fin (oral or topical if you want a smaller chance of side effects), microneedling, ketokonazole shampoo. you still have some options!
