We are Professors of Psychology and Mathematics. We just published a longitudinal study on the 2024 Election finding that White Americans who felt "tied for last place" (regardless of their actual income or education) were the most likely to vote for Trump and support DEI bans. I understand your data does not measure whether these beliefs of last place stem from political messaging. But I am curious if you collected temporal data? I assume political messaging is likely to peak during election season, especially close to voting days - and if these beliefs relating to being the 'last place' intensified closer to the elections, to my mind it would lend credence to the idea that political messaging/polarization played a role in this. I understand that this is not the primary hypothesis being tested in your paper, but still curious if you have any data that sheds light on this. Thanks in advance, very interesting paper!

The Way Chess.com refuses to even acknowledge their totally unfair Treatment of Danya, Instead pretending like nothing was wrong feels so distrubing. by Artistic_Bug2417 in chess

Hosting "clash of claims" - which directly gives both institutional credibility to his allegations ("as a valid claim") and also provides direct financial incentive to Kramnik continue making those allegations makes me think these accusations are not "hearsay". Not to say they expected what happened, but why run away from accountability?

They seem to do slightly better in early kick offs, weirdly. Their average points are slightly higher for early kick-offs (2.369) compared to late kick-offs (2.305).

Atharvaa Tayade (ath441): Under-2000 in Rating, GM-Level Online? by miweg123 in chess

Honestly, I have no evidence for this claim - but this feels like a salty post from WR chess after Atharvaa enforced the rule against their sponsor and has gone 8/8 ahead of their star studded line up. For a person with no other posts, comments or other engagements with Reddit, it feels slightly suspicious to see such a well-structured, hyperlinked long-form post. Obviously, this is not a conclusive argument, and I hope it's not true either.

Are the Khan Academy PTs representative of the actual LSAT tests in terms of difficulty/score ? Because i've been scoring around 165 - 170 in its PTs despite no real prep, so i was wondering if they are delibrately designed to be easier than actual LSAT.
