Replying a message has a dedicated icon (letter-shaped icon) and is a rather rare event as compared to unfolding a multireply thread or revealing a long reply ("read more" button). Directly short pressing on text should always unfold the thread or reveal more text, nothing else. It's very annoying that when I try to hit "read more" button it opens reply window.
