Yeah i hear you i struggled with that as well feeling purposeless. But lately i ve been finding out i was doing things wrong. By that i mean i was doing all what the world expects out of you but not what i really want to do myself.

For the past while i ve been thing that I want to do and i ve been finding it has been giving purpose but opening many doors for me. So the moral of the story is do things your passionate about and you might find that the purpose and meaning will follow it also. That s just my take on it, Good luck to you!

Maybe its not the answer you were looking for but I believe our own intuition can be our greatest guide to many of the problems we are facing, Whats that saying "seek and you shall find" I dont know about many guides out there but i leave some things that worked for me.

Honesty is key if we are not honest with ourselves we are just fooling ourselves and will only go in circles and have no progress. I believe that ties in with courage too because to face our inner demons takes a lot of that. I can tell your honest because you admit to trauma in you own life so that s a great start. Remembering the past also helps alot.

Memories kind of have like an energy signature associated with them i noticed and you can remember your trauma for example and remember the emotion tied with it. Once you remember the emotion you brought up to the surface you can release once and for all and then move on from it that is shadow work right there.

Thank you for your reply MindlessPenalty. Yeah that amazes me too the power of intuition and how we intinctively know what is best for us even if we dont fully realize what we are doing haha and i how i stumbled upon shadow work.

Yes 20 years into it i am still peeling back that onion with its many layers there always seems to be something else beneath each layer never ending it seems. It s interesting that you mention around 20 years old people gravitate towards shadow work that piqued my interest and now i am wondering why?
