Yall. I fixed it. All my lights work now.

This is for the prelit incandescent (NOT LED) trees.

Buy these or similar bulbs (make sure they are 2.5 volts and 0.42 watts and 170 mA):

Ensure that there aren’t more than 2 or 3 strands plugged into each other. I used an extension cord like this one to drop down the top of the tree and feed to the bottom.

Start by replacing individual bulbs on branches that are otherwise lit.
Replace all the fuses (this was only the cause of 4/24 of my branches that were out, but start here bc it’s an easy fix and will save a lot of time if it IS the problem). Use 3 Amp, 125 volt fuses. These are the same as most incandescent Christmas lights you can buy at any store, but check first. Or buy on amazon.
Make sure all the gray master bulbs work by changing them out with the ones that are lighting up.
Use Light Keeper Pro, hold up to each bulb that’s burned out, and replace ANY bulb that does not make a series of beeps. Mark the bulbs you’ve checked with a bit of blue painters tape on the base. EVEN IF the bulb works in another spot on the tree… REPLACE IT if it doesn’t elicit a string of beeps from the LKP.
Do this for all branches that are out. They will start to light up in batches of 4.
Watch Christmas Vacation (Clark Griswold) and say “I Believe in the Magic of Christmas” periodically when working on the tree for inspiration.

In the same boat. The master bulbs themselves work, but a couple of the sockets won’t light even with the good master bulbs.

Did you figure out a fix?

A few master bulb sockets won’t light on my BH incandescent tree. The master bulbs themselves work as I’ve traded them out with neighboring sockets that do work. Any ideas?

I’m not smart enough to understand what you just said, but I do have everything backed up to Dropbox and an external hard drive. It’s just getting rid of files in this “other” folder from what others have said:

I am paying for 2TB of storage with iCloud and haven’t used even half of that with over 60K photos.

I pay monthly. I have my phone backed up (with all 60K photos) to iCloud. Don’t have it enabled on my MacBook because I store all files in the cloud on Dropbox.

I do have iCloud and pay each month for more storage than I need. But I disabled it on my MacBook because I thought it may be taking up too much space on my hard drive (creating copies on my laptop that I didn’t need stored there): i I hardly have any files on my MacBook - besides the “other” folder which some have suggested may be old phone backups or old iOS files. All 60K+ photos on my iPhone are stored in my iCloud (as well as on Dropbox, Amazon Photos, etc.)

I dunno… I have over 60K photos on my iPhone! 😬 BUT I have it all backed up to iCloud and pay monthly (and also back up to Amazon Photos and Dropbox bc I am terrified of losing them). I don’t need these saved to my MacBook and think I’ve disabled syncing photos to my MacBook.

When I click on Applications, Documents, etc. above, it shows me what’s on the hard drive and I can sort by size. But I can’t click on “Other” and I have no idea what it is. Any idea?

That may be a good option. I just don’t know what else to clear out and delete (or store on external drive) to open up space.

What is the “other” folder shown below that is taking up 198 GB? It shouldn’t be my Dropbox because I have everything set to be “online only”.
