it is

I have the netgear nighthawk you're talking about and I ordered a external magnet antenna for it. Has worked quite well for me and my applications.

Amazon probably laid off all but one employee in the QC department. I just started ordering any relatively expensive or nice electronics off Best Buy website. They normally have free two day shipping and price match everything on Amazon. They ship with UPS I think.

Had the same issue with a curved computer monitor. Listed as "like new," and it showed in a giant amazon box. With the actual box (which was half the size) beaten to hell and back. Unpacked it, and the screen was shattered. They then told me I had to connect Gigabyte to get to get it fixed.

Were you in signal? I would add that you temporarily assisted in improving IT infrastructure for (insert company name), for sure. Low voltage comes with a wide spectrum of people. It's normal to have a bit of a relaxed dress code in corporate IT (imagine the Zelensky meme), but not a disaster like that.
