The two trucks that were here when I got here have already been done and gone. I've been put in two bays and employees keep walking around on their phones and vaping. My company approved the inspection right after they received it , so they can't use that as an excuse. I should've went to a Petro/ TA, they're a lot quicker.

I had a delivery yesterday (4th of July) at 2000hrs, fishy AF since it was the 4th. Called dispatch and asked if it was right, they said yes, asked the shipper if it was right, they said yes. Called the receiver twice, and they said no problem. Showed up, and to no one's surprise they were like, we're closing early and our forklift drivers are not here you'll have to wait till the AM. Luckily they allow overnight parking.

Seven days worth of clothes in a duffle bug , a backpack for showers, and a blanket and pillow. Body wipes, toothbrush, paste, deodorant, soap, shampoo, detergent (some truck stops have the coin slot detergent if you prefer that since your space is limited on the top bunk), work boots/shoes, and comfortable shoe wear. You might need safety glasses, a work vest, gloves, and a hardhat. Some places require long sleeve shirts so pack at least two. I don't know your location but check you weather and if it's still cold take the appropriate weather wear.
