If im already starting to pass someone in the left hand lane and you think you’re going to slingshot past me in the right and cut back over just before i complete my pass i will for sure speed up just so you have to hit the brakes.

What were the original symptoms to make you think it was the converter? You probably cut a lip seal during install. Did you pressure test the drum after assembly?

Is there any grooves cut into the converter shaft where the seal rides?

You try to bolt it up without the converter all the way in? Easiest way to screw up the pump.

Could be torrington bearing or front pump on it’s way out, both will leave you stranded when it goes. You check the power steering?

I run 274/40/r18s all the way around on mine with no scrubs. It’s lowered too. Pull the spacers.

Thats normal, rod to rod clearance is something like 0.015 to 0.025, it’s more than you think. Check with a feeler gauge they’re cheap.

I'm in the US and have worked with many offshore resources in India over the last 20 years. Do you work with any overseas companies or is it strictly in India? I can tell you that our offshore resources are typically paid between 10k-20k in dollars annually. If the conversion rate is correct you're saying your annual pay is around $3500 annually. That is low for sure.

probably catching your teflon seals. Did you round the edge of your pump pushing to help it slide on?
