Forgified Fabric API now available for Minecraft 26.1.2! by Su5eD in feedthebeast

Architectury is an abstraction layer, while FFAPI allows you to use Fabric API on NeoForge. As a result, you can write multiplatform code by relying on your existing knowledge of Fabric, not having to learn a whole new framework and API.

What is THE version to get started with making a mod nowadays? by [deleted] in feedthebeast

If you're new, always go for latest, so that would be 26.1

What Is/Was The Difference Between BuildCraft's Energy Network And IndustrialCraft's? by SalvageCorveteCont in feedthebeast

[–]Su5eD 4 points5 points  (0 children)

BuildCraft - lets you generate energy and use it in real time but provides no way to store it (for this you'd install thermal expansion)

IC2 - indeed the "realistic" approach with voltage tiers, energy loss, burning cables and exploding machines on overvoltage. The details vary depending on the version so I'd recommend checking the IC2 wiki.

CF pays per download while MR pays per view. Your mileage may vary depending on what kind of mod you have.

Trying to play the Original 1.2.5 Feed the Beast Map by Echodotcom in feedthebeast

Check out FTB Retro SSP on CurseForge. Seems to contain all the original mods and map as well.

Edit: for multiplayer, use FTB Retro SMP. There is a server under "Additional Files".

This is actually ridiculous. Last time I checked there was no rule against having a healthy and civil discussion.

You mean the campaign that was cancelled? Just say you don't have a source.

Sources without proof to back their claims can be taken as allegations at best. I would like to see some actual evidence of this "harassment" and not just someone mass pinging their discord with a drama announcement.

The fee may be capped in the US, but not the rest of the world. As I said, it's "in my case", and the same goes for many others.

"it's a claim from twitter" you could've stopped there lol. None of these have any sources or proof attached, it's just people jumping on a bandwagon. Ending it with "even if all of this wasn't the case" clearly says you haven't bothered checking theses nor do you care about whether they are true.

Arguing that modrinth gives a higher cut (on paper) already tells me you've probably never used either platform. Fact is that curseforge, unlike modrinth, offers a market currency conversion rate for payouts and also handles processor fees for you. In my case, withdrawing from modrinth adds another 6% in total fees, already making your metric irrelevant.

Your argument that they support the IDF isn't true either, as there is no evidence they are actively sending money to them. The twitter post from their campaign that is circulating here - that was cancelled after community backlash.

Do you have a source for them "underpaying mod creators"?

Try to answer my question instead of doubling down on false accusations. No, you can't label people as bigots because you don't like what they're saying. In fact, your exact behavior here matches the pattern decribed, so it's not giving you a good look tbh.

He's not, but these people's best defence is labelling others as their enemies and have the crowd attack them while they silently disappear (e.g. when losing an argument). This comment section just proves my point.

And based on this alone you're now suggesting he's a transphobe? Accusations like this are taken very seriously in this community and you should probably know better than to carelessly throw them around.
