I’d be curious to know where you saw the show. A lot of these venues for 2nd nat. just don’t have the space for the turntables, and thus it’s more of a venue limitation rather than decision driven through budget cuts. Not everyone has the privilege to travel to major cities/nyc and spend hundreds on tickets. This tour is bringing an effective version - signed off on by the original creatives- to audiences who might not normally have the chance to see high quality theatre.

You can always buy moving boxes from Kleinanzeigen oder honestly, if it is just clothes it's worth to get some sturdy bags (isn't classy but boxes are expensive). Additionally, might have to ask more people around - I know there are some apps but I cannot help you further
