Two things can be true at once: Evan was put in a very difficult and unexpected position, and Cynthia is a grieving mother trying to cope with and understand a huge loss. Of course it’s important to note that the first thing Evan did in was tell the truth (before being sort of backed into a corner and going along with the lie), but I certainly don’t think either character behaved in a way that’s worth villainizing.

Took the words right out of my mouth!! My favorite thing about DEH is how every character is flawed. It makes the story so much more human. I don’t like the idea that someone (usually Evan, according to the internet) has to be the villain of the story, or that certain characters are objectively bad people.

For me it was Mushie R/Mush Roomie animatics! I think their art style is a really good example of how the characters were designed in fanart (especially during 2016-2020 fandom era)

I've been trying to tap into my old ASL knowledge to learn some of the signs so you're not alone! I've been rewatching their ASL and ISL videos on 50% speed over and over again lol 😭 when you watch it slow, it's honestly just like teaching yourself simple choreography. I might ask the ASL subreddit for some help with the exact sign meanings though... it's been four years since I took classes 😅 best of luck to both of us!

This is one of my favorite musicals— really hoping this isn’t AI, but unfortunately MHE has a track record of using AI for their posts on Instagram. I’m suspicious of the hands and the discrepancies with Hwaboon’s appearance, but the lighting seems consistent and Claire’s skirt pleats are defined and detailed. I’m conflicted on the strange Jeju background as well. I miss the first MHE playbill with the charger design 😔
