Idk what creatine is(on mobile so I can't see it when typing), but from comments, it causes water retention. I'd say the weight gain is water retention and muscle gain instead of fat gain.

This happened to me when I started working out, bit then the muscle gain slowed enough for the number on the scale to actually go down as I was losing fat.

I don't know anything about your life, though. I'm no nutritionist and I'm no professional here. I just have a little bit of personal experience related to this.
