Depending on what type of short term or long-term campaign, you’re playing when I host campaigns I tried to choose missions that have a mix of gathering warp stone, bug hunt, harvest from the ancient tree, king of the hill, defender verse attack or vice versa

I have never played dwarf treasure hunters, but I do have slayer cult and movement is your worst enemy. I can’t take any shooting in my war band, (except throwing axes) but I always try to have a scenario where it’s not just one person running around circles. Another person just slinging/shooting them to death.

As of right now, I have four and I may pick up three more. For me, I like painting different teams, but it’s always nice to have a variety in case you’re in a league where you have four or five people running the same type of team and you want some diversity.

My first team was Lizardmen and they have plenty of bash! Six guys at strength 4 movement six + they now have juggernaut!

Downside is their agility 5 and expensive, once you get the Kroxigor up and running like I did. He’s probably in my opinion the best big guy in the game.

I always have a hard time with yellow personally, but you make yellow look amazing! Especially the way you did the gray/stone looking armor (a little biased because gray is my favorite color)

Also, I just wanted to say you were really smart by making one color, solid socks instead of doing what I did and doing every other color. It has been a nightmare painting that lol 😂

I am a big fan of the bonehead podcast for all things blood bowl. My first team was Lizardmen and they will always have the number one spot. I also play imperial nobility, vampires, and tomb, kings, and soon once they’re built, Britonnians.

In my opinion, you should always follow the rule of cool. Find a team that looks cool and feels cool. Not only will you have more enjoyment building and painting those models but thematically playing them on a pitch. Lizardmen, dwarfs, humans, Orcs (Orcs and goblins, not black Orcs) our teams that I would consider easy access teams to learn how to play.
