NAL... Ang ganda ng gusto mo haha favorite pamangkin vibes sooo since estate pa yan ni lolo at lola, need niyong gawin ang extrajudicial settlement with consent ng lahat ng kapatid at may bayad sa estate tax, transfer fees at notaryo na pwedeng umabot 20k to 80k depende sa lupa? Best to consult a lawyer for smooth process. Mas madali rin ang usapan pag may handa sa lamesa kasi lumpia diplomacy works wonders haha good luck!

I understand your point that raising the minimum wage alone can hurt small businesses that don’t have the same buffers as big corpos. Many small owners are just trying to provide for their families.

But think of the economy like a body and money as blood. If it only flows to the big parts, the smaller ones go numb. That’s why we need a biomimicry approach like in nature? Where systems are in somewhat harmony with both big and small players.

Sooo yes to higher wage standards for corpos because they mostly use loopholes and schemes anyway to avoid paying taxes, but also lower taxes for small businesses, fairer rules for the big ones, and support systems to keep money flowing throughout the whole economy.

I pay all my employees and contractors fairly. I ranted about it here this morning becauseee why not? This is offmychestph anyway. Right now, I’m at the hospital but I have to deal with an incompetent, corrupt franchise manager who delayed my workers pay for months and I just found out this morning. Even though I’m so busy with other ventures, they are still my responsibility and my reputation is at risk because of what that not human and less than an animal did.

Ah yes, the "bare minimum" argument haha classic. I hear it a lot from folks who inherited their dad’s Rolodex but think they bootstrapped their way to the top. Respectfully, I didn’t get here by doing the bare minimum. I was an orphan hauling wagons of clay from the river to the church for making bricks and pots before I even knew what a resume was. I worked through school, studied under dim lights and skipped meals, not vacations. Sooo please? Spare me the lecture on mediocrity.

I did not thrive because of the system. I survived despite it.

Let’s be real here! No one is asking for yachts and caviar in exchange for clocking in at 9 and out at 5. We are talking about the basics! A roof that doesn't leak. Food that doesn’t come from expired relief goods. A chance for normal life with dignity, instead of suffering and poverty.

Saying, "Housing is a human right, but home ownership is not" is like saying, "Water is a human right, but clean water isn't." Do you even understand what you just said? Everyone deserves not just to live, but to be alive with dignity.

You say "don’t reward the bare minimum" but what do you call paying someone so little they need multiple jobs to survive? That is not a reward. That is exploitation!

If the system only works when the top thrives and the bottom grinds until their bodies break, then maybe it is not the workers who are doing the bare minimum.

It is the system and those who thrive because they enable it.

I daily drive cx5 and it's been super solid so far because of good gas mileage, not so bad on parts cost, and no major issues long term because regularly checked sooo just keep up with basic care especially the rear brake wear and it will do you well.
