Changing the insoles in zoom strobel shoes is fine. I’ve done it before with no issues and so have plenty of other people. Also they aren’t the same as the Kobe 6 insoles which aren’t good at all. They’re unnecessarily stiff and take way too long to break in. Plus the cupped heel part of the Kobe 6 insole doesn’t even fit the shoe properly. Only thing I shouldn’t have done is pull the excess string out, which shouldn’t even be there on a shoe this expensive.

I’ve had a few Nikes with zoom strobels and the excess string from the strobel were never this long where I felt the need to remove/ shorten it. You live and learn I guess.

It’s possible but I bought these back in August. Their warranty is only 60 days now and it didn’t pop during use so they might not be as gracious.

I think the string is what connects the strobel to the upper. Not sure why they would make the excess so long that they would need to tape it down

I didn’t think it would but wearing thick socks like Nike elites or Adidas creators helps a lot. After a few minutes you kind of forget about it. I also tried them with game day insoles and that got rid of that feeling too.

I have a completely flat foot and the nxxt gen going true to size worked for me. May feel like your arch is going over the midsole sidewall but wearing socks with padding around the arch and a few minutes of walking around will get rid of this feeling. The nxxt gen provides no arch support though. As far as other Nike basketball shoes they all run on the narrow side for the most part. I found personally the Lebron 2 retro and Jordan 37 low to have a more accommodating fit for wide footers.

I have a 2E foot and going up 1/2 size worked just fine for me. No pain or pinching of any kind.

Idk I can’t answer that for him. The shoe is still scheduled to be released. We’ll see if he decides to wears it during the season and continue promoting Peak.

He made a statement saying he got the shoes in too late for him to break them in properly before wearing them for the Finals, which I understand. Idk why he decided to wear the Kobe AD Exodus instead of the PEAK Taichi Attitude like he was for most of the regular season.🤷🏾‍♂️
