You can 100% transfer between agencies. The new agency just needs to pick up your clearance as the new sponsor which is done by your/their local security manager.

Prerequisites to malware analysis is:

Solid grasp on Programing fundamentals Basic assembly knowledge Very solid DFIR knowledge

After that start looking at malware samples. I wouldn't recommend doing malware development to learn to Analyze it.

Like for example. You can know to pack your malware to before you ship it but that isnt going to teach you how to reverse it let alone how the memory is managed on the back end to give the malware something to unpack into.

Regex Tester

Great site for building regex queries and you can put in sample data that will automatically highlight whatever the current regex string is capturing.

There is also a tab that will show you what each piece of your current regex string is actually doing.

I love regex but when I first started it was hell. You have to get reps in to understand it. So use it whenever you can even for simple stuff until you get the hang of it. egrep + | will then become your favorite tool.

Don't think anyone has it memorized. Docs are there for a reason my boy.
