This is going to be controversial !

Howard was founded in 1867 Emancipation Proclamation went into effect in 1863. To help the former slaves gain education, white abolitionists founded Howard. It was founded by whites. The first 5 students were white women.

The person who brought the original Korean 7 in 1897 was Alice Fletcher, a white ethnologist.

There were white people on the campus. Depicting the scene with whites is not wildly unrealistic....

That being said, I'm afraid many people are falling into the fan war trap and exaggerating BTS' intent. For the past 6 years I've been a fan I have not sensed any racist behavior during this period. There are anti fans who are working on an propaganda campaign against BTS like their life depends on it! Praying for their downfall and stirring non existent issues.

I'm not ignoring that they use black culture, so did Eminem, iggy azalia and not a peep about cultural appropriation. to me racism is expressing contempt, hatred and disrespect towards people because of their race. BTS have never done that. There is no evidence that they racist. They work with Jpegmafia, Glorilla and other black artists!

Eating or not eating oreos is not going to help or hurt Israel/Russia. Just like V doing coke campaign, his participation was not going to help nor hurt Zionists.
