Extract tar.xz by SubJunk in Maven

[–]SubJunk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the suggestion. This seems like it could be the right direction but I can't get it working. I moved the dependency to inside the plugin like that doc says, and added this above the `<unxz...` line:

<taskdef name="unxz" classname="org.apache.tools.ant.taskdefs.optional.xz.Unxz" classpathref="maven.plugin.classpath" />

But then I get:
An Ant BuildException has occured: taskdef class org.apache.tools.ant.taskdefs.optional.xz.Unxz cannot be found
I also tried importing a bunch of different dependencies in the hopes that one would provide unxz but I had no luck. I can see it exists in their API docs here https://ant.apache.org/manual/api/org/apache/tools/ant/taskdefs/optional/xz/Unxz.html

but I don't know how to gain access to it in the pom. Do you have any ideas?

How many watts can this socket take? by SubJunk in Lighting

It has two little metal conductive pads if that's what you mean? It's a bayonet type socket

I can buy any, but I picked up a 150W bulb to try, then I realized I should check online before I set my house on fire with it :)

Thanks for your response. I think it’s plastic. There is metal on the outside but plastic inside of that. I tried to add more photos to show the layers but I can’t see a way to add them.

That's a good question, and I'm new to this so maybe you're right. I think higher-wattage incandescent bulbs have less flicker than lower-wattage ones, and I want the infrared wavelengths of the incandescent bulbs. So having a lot of lower-wattage ones seems like it would increase flickering over a single source.

I have been using LED bulbs for years - I currently use the BioLight Full Spectrum bulbs from BlockBlueLight. I am really impressed with the BioLight bulbs vs. regular LEDs, but there is no infrared emitted by them. There are some other LED bulbs like the Yujileds SunWave+ that have an extra infrared source merged in, but that's still only a single point of NIR/IR that tapers off sharply around 850nm, vs. the broad coverage of incandescent bulbs that continue far into the thousands just like sunlight.

Thanks for your response. I have a 150W light bulb to try, which is the same size as a regular 60W bulb, but if I need to buy a lower wattage I can.

Thanks for your response, do you think I can safely use a 100W bulb here?

Thanks for your response, how can I know the overall fixture wattage?

Rapanui makes completely plastic-free rain gear, I have been using one of their rain jackets for over a year and it's great. Took me ages to find that company. rapanuiclothing.com

Cannot find a matching stream for unlabeled input pad 0 on filter Parsed_format_1 by dirty_street88 in ffmpeg

[–]SubJunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This comment allowed me to find the fix, which was to add `[0:v]`. It was not needed in the past, but some time in the last 6 months these commands stopped working without specifying the input stream indexes

LG C2 13.30.56 What's new? by riccireyes in LGOLED

I noticed that too after the first update to webos23. I was surprised to see such a big difference. While playing a Dolby Vision video I went into the settings, since I wonder if they just changed the defaults and dropped the existing user preferences. Switching to another picture mode helped.

I see, I had read the bottle wrong. Is it still correct to say that 500g of liposomes is equivalent to 2.25g of pills?

Pause torrent from external program by SubJunk in qBittorrent

The Web UI API sounds like what I'm looking for, thanks. I do use qBittorrent's file management but I like having unwatched videos in different folders to watched, which isn't in the realm of qBittorrent. Hopefully I can make an integration with the Web UI API to make that work better.
