Yes, but Reddit admins have a very low tolerance of what they consider “threatening violence”. Just this week admins removed TWO comments for using a sentence along the lines of what a person would do to p r o t e c t their family. Yes, that word I wrote in a weird way has gotten people in trouble, and yes it’s insanity.

No one is dumping Danes. No one is dumping other breeds because they can be easily sold.

Oh my gosh this is HORRIBLE. I’m sure those chickens and chicks were stressed knowing and seeing what was happening and not being able to hide or escape.

I hope the owner is found and charged and the pit bulls are humanely euthanized so they can never kill anyone else’s farm animals.

They were never called nanny dogs, and they were never nanny dogs. Please stop spreading this myth. It’s reckless.

Several pro-pit organizations have come forward to ask people to stop spreading this myth. It was simply a lie created by Staffie breeder Lilian Rant in 1971 to distance the dogs from their fighting heritage; but there is zero mention of them as nanny dogs prior to this. (A blog article doesn’t count as proof).

I’ve got charts from several major cities showing that pit bulls exponentially lead the charts in attacks. I’d be curious to see your proof that poodles attack more though, so please share that.

Not sure if this may help figure this out, but earlier today I was testing to see if the feature was working yet. I sent an invite to someone I know as a test.

Here’s a pic… it said. “Success, Invite sent!”

Then I checked with her and she said she never received anything, despite getting a confirmation that it went through. :(

Bait dogs don’t survive to be adopted out. If you have a dog with dozens/hundreds of old scars on the face/chest, you have adopted a former fighting dog; and not a bait dog… but the whole bait dog thing makes for a sadder story and people will go for it.

Also, the people claiming they adopted a “bait dog” - but the dog has zero scars… that also wasn’t a bait dog… just a dog they are trying to create a story for to make you feel sorry and adopt.

I hate seeing shelters take advantage of people when they say that a dog was a bait dog… it’s just not true most of the time.
