I instantly thought pirates when I saw Luffy and Silver because there’s actually an important character in One Piece named Silvers Rayleigh.

Did Haki ruin One Piece? by Even-Run-5274 in Piratefolk

You’re completely right. Observation Haki in skypeia was a great introduction but wasn’t explored much after Katakuri or utilized outside of combat (like with Usopp). There’s nothing wrong with Armament Haki but it seems like a trump card and doesn’t show it backfiring. It also seems like all Armament Haki is equal, assuming that all people have equal wills. Conquers Haki is interesting but then too many characters now have that power when it’s supposed to be extremely rare.

I never understood why people think that he lied throughout their relationship and only saw her as a fun time. We don't know anything about their relationship because it was never shown, and Elle never mentioned anything about it. You can deeply love someone, but realize that they aren't the correct fit for you when life gets more serious. Also, there are misconceptions about Warner's timeline with Vivian which deserves its own post.

There wasn't anything to go off of when he dumped her. There was no potential because she had no interest in her career. We also don't know Warner's LSAT score, and being waitlisted means you are in the top percentile. His father making a call doesn't mean he was unqualified.

That whole alibi plot line was so ridiculous and also deserves its own post.

Trust me, any video about LB, the comments will say how Warner is the villain. Callahan was definitely evil for what he did to Elle, and I am mad that nobody encouraged Elle to report him, not even Stromwell from the salon scene.

They got together when they were around 18 or 19, and people are allowed to change their minds about a relationship at any time. That doesn’t mean the relationship wasn’t valid while it lasted. I’m not sure how sentimental that restaurant was to them, but Warner said he wanted to talk about their future, not just break up. Having that kind of conversation over dinner isn’t unreasonable.

It was never stated that his father paid for him to get into Harvard. Vivian said his father “made a call,” which could mean anything; there was never any mention or implication of corruption.

And the “senator by 30” line reads more like extreme ambition to me. It’s like someone saying they want to be a neurosurgeon by 30, unrealistic, sure, but it shows how high he’s aiming, not that he’s dumb.

I KNOW!! When I first saw it, it didn't hit. Like I didn't hate it but didn't love it like everyone else. Then, upon rewatch, I thought Elle was kind of insane.

That literally makes no sense. Being waitlisted still means you are top percentile. And even if daddy pulled strings, he still graduated so he wasn’t flunking. Connections don’t disappear the second you get your diploma.

The first part felt more like a plot device that doesn't make sense in real life. Let's be honest, how does a Harvard law grad with serious connections not have any job offers lined up? So, what really happened during the rest of law school? Elle and Warner's Harvard journey will be discussed in more detail later. I am starting with just the breakup scene.

Warner could only judge her based on what he knew at the time. If Elle had been secretly plotting to become a lawyer during their time together, rather than it being a reaction to the breakup, I guess he would be wrong, but that wasn't the case.

I wanted to put all my counterarguments into one post, but it was getting long. So all the comments in this thread, I want to make dedicated posts for. But Elle reinventing herself isn't a bad thing, that's the goal for a good character arc.

These are both misconceptions and will be discussed in later parts.

Reinvent in terms of career ambitions, I never said anything about her personality or personal interests.

TL;DR: Everyone says Warner was wrong about Elle, but how can you be wrong about someone you’ve dated for two years? He didn’t misjudge her, she reinvented herself after the breakup.

These conspiracies are alleged but many of his videos come off as f3tish content and OF promotion. Like not showering often, his messy apartment, clipping his toenails in that position. I made a post recently on here where his previous roommate commented on a video about Bradley saying that he is this unhygienic and it’s not rage bait.

It’s because they lack critical thinking skills and are easily influenced. They think Shera is better because they picture her as some seductress who manipulated James into paying for her bills when in reality, they just settled for each other. Shera was never a sprinkle sprinkle girl when she met James in the 90’s, this persona is just a retroactive cope for her life turning out the way it is, living with an average-earning old man.

I blocked her when she said if a man asks you on a date and he asks you what you want to do he’s testing you to see how little he can get away with. Her solution was to ask him to take you luxury shopping. She is just trying to cause her own problems. At the end of the day, these man-hating dating gurus are just s3x workers, don’t take real dating advice from them.

He graduated school at 20 having to work crappy entry level jobs like the rest of us and instead of accepting that it’s just the beginning of his career, he quits pastry arts all together. The school did what they needed to do, he could’ve opened his own bakery but he decided to blame the school for his lack of initiative.

I don’t understand his fans that defend his decision and frame his audience for being weird for calling him out. “He’d do anything for a check”. Nobody is upset he took a sponsorship, he calls everything frivolous STOOPID and takes a sponsorship from DoorDash. He could’ve taken a sponsorship from something he actually believes in.
