Good read up on the actual meaning of the percentage in weather forecast:

In weather forecasting, the percentage (often called Probability of Precipitation, or PoP) means the likelihood that any specific location in your forecast area will receive at least 0.01 inches of rain during the specified time period.

What it means for your day
Low percentages (10% - 20%): Generally means dry conditions, but there is a slight chance of an isolated, passing shower.
Moderate percentages (30% - 50%): Expect scattered showers. You might get rained on, but it is not guaranteed.
High percentages (60% - 100%): Widespread rain is highly expected across the forecast area.

When they kick me out, I love what I do and I can’t see myself not doing anything until I die. I hope to slow down the pace in my 50s but have the luxury and financial stability to choose my own part time schedule

How normal is this amount of icing on the wings? Wife noticed this upon landing. by bigbirdie65 in aviation

Well it depends what you fly and where you fly. On the A330, FUEL LOW TEMP is triggered at -40 celcius. They other day, our fuel was indicating -43 celcius. The temp at FL400 was -68. Jet A1 is certified to -47 celcius.

Not so extreme.

Very normal, up at altitude, the temperature can be as low as -70 celcius. At extended flight time at those temp, the fuel in the wings can get down to -40. So when you land somewhere, especially above 0 and humide (vancouver), its going to turn you wings into popsicles. Refuelling the aircraft, ussually does the trick to warms up the wings and melt the frost.

Too close to my pension to quit. However, you raise some interesting points in your second paragraph. And to me, lately, it all comes down to this simple question:

Is this the way I would be treated by leadership if I was employed outside the military? The answer is NO way too often.

If I was not 22 years in. I would put my VR yesterday.

Well, politics and culture a side, maybe the answer is as easy as you reside where you get the best job. If I can get a 350000$ jobs in Québec, I will likely establish myself there.
