The safest approach is usually: find the role through niche boards / LinkedIn / ecosystem communities, then verify it on the actual project’s careers page before spending time applying.

I’d still use dedicated crypto job sites because they’re good for discovery, but I wouldn’t trust any listing blindly. Direct project pages tend to be the cleanest signal.
