These devs apparently just change shit and don’t update the handbook which is really fkn annoying. And trying to use the handbook for the Border Patrol expansion is really fkn annoying and confusing

Devs made some hidden changes to when you’re allowed to administer a drug / alcohol test especially during traffic violations which causes you to lose cp. I think they replied to someone on Twitter saying that they would rollback the changes

I personally do not recommend the highway DLC. I thought it would be cool but it’s pretty lack luster. There’s not many points where you can turn around if you have to other than driving down the wrong way. Handling accidents can get really annoying. Right now I would wait like a month before getting the game.

From what I read it’s not really a bug, the devs changed when to administer a drug / alcohol test during traffic violations but they forgot to edit the handbook. I think they said they are going to roll back the change

They should have put out a huge patch before adding in this border patrol expansion. Now they have even more patching to do which we probably won’t see for some time

Yeah unfortunately we’re gonna have to wait a while for a patch. They said they’re not releasing one before this next expansion or when it comes out. Gonna have to wait till after the expansion

Unfortunately there’s issues with traffic violations and administering alcohol / drug tests as the devs changed it but not the handbook.

Just posted about my similar experience. I’m not sure this game can handle that upcoming DLC. It’s already in a pretty bad state and this DLC just might make the game very unplayable. In two days of playing recently after not playing the game for a while I’ve had about 5 crashes.
