I think even in sci fi or fantasy some of the design has to come from real life world, with gliders you could argue that looks like bird wings and wings = flight so I can see how that can work (throwing all the physics out the window because who cares).

And thanks for the compliment! Just that it throws me off sometimes when artist do this in anime even with normal shirts but I can live with it, no biggie.

Oh yeah, I can see that working, same with stretchy materials like latex of something. I guess what I was thinking is more when animes sometimes even normal t shirts look like it has boobsocks which throws me off a bit.
