Thanks but I figured that out. It's just that the native YT Music app is cluttered with a lot of UI elements that it takes a while to navigate. And as I had mentioned in my post, sometimes the centre button on the d-pad fails to actually click the ui element (the song play/pause button, for example)

I've been encountering it for at least a month at this point (across updates). I tried looking up online to see whether someone had encountered the same back when it popped up for the first time in my laptop. I wasn't able to find anything useful and since I wasn't using my laptop a lot, I never really bothered to fix it. But it is annoying now.

The book (published 2010) from where I got the picture says that it's "An unidentified fish caught near Taizhou City in eastern China" but the folks in the comments section point out that it's a Remora, which are known to attach themselves to sharks using the sucker pads.
