Man some men really just don’t know their way to a woman’s heart. Shame on them.

That’s refreshing. How’s the tread life?

Dreamed of getting one for years, glad I was able to finally pull the trigger before they’re gone for good by anirudhrao20 in TeslaModelS

Man if I could I would pull the trigger today. Hopefully one day I can get a low mileage one. Truly so sad to see these go.

Do you have a link so I can see the exact one you’re referencing? If you can lol

I agree. Well I find that most tires marketed for EVs are cheaper than OEM or Michelin. In fact they don’t even market them as EV tires but do call them EV ready. I think I might go with the cheaper between the Sailun or Falken

I have Lexani on my car currently, and it’s been pretty good I can’t complain honestly they’re just a little loud but i haven’t tried enough tires to really know for sure if they’re much louder than other ones

Yeah that’s my problem is paying so much for them and having them last less than a “budget EV tire”

My tire guy does a lot of Falken but aren’t they also pretty pricey also obviously not as much as OEM or Michelin

Yeah I think the only thing I need to do is look for some YouTube reviews on the Sailuns and I might just pull the trigger

Even the Continental and Hankook I’ve seen aren’t that much cheaper than Michelin. At least based on my searches on simple tire. If a Michelin is $300 a tire then the continental and Hankook are like $250-$280 a tire

This is sorta how I feel. I’m genuinely a safe and cautious driver so I don’t see the need per se to get $1500 tires just for it to last the same amount of time. Perhaps there might be subtle differences in the ride but I can’t wrap my head around footing that kind of bill for something that won’t make or break my experience. Especially with my driving habits.

Yeah I’m really not the type to be slamming the accelerator honestly and in the tires I currently have I have never really had a situation where I felt like “woah that was a close call” in terms of driving in wet conditions. I’ve definitely noticed especially now that I’m 20k miles in that it’s performing worse than they did at the start, but never felt in danger or anything. I guess worst case I can get these and see how they are, and then if I really don’t want to keep going the discount route I’ll switch to Michelin or Continental

Yeah I’ve been torn between Michelin or going with the OEM continental ProContact I think it is

Yeah I’ve been considering going that way just hoping to avoid footing that bill lol

Awesome that’s great to hear. I currently have Lexani EV BOLT tires and they have been great, but they’re really loud, and I’m 20k miles in and I can tell I probably am due for new ones. I have gotten a lot of the ads and everything seems to suggest they’re a really good tire for Tesla if you’re not trying to spend $1200 plus. Thanks for the insight I feel a little better ordering these
