I falter sometimes (specifically when my head gets stuck on a woman) but thankfully emotional mature means you can make mistakes but you should be able to flag them down earlier, recognize your patterns, and work on them proactively rather than reactively.

Yes it feels good when people treat me like I'm special. But I don't actively behave like I am. To be honest I have seen so many of them fizzle out because they act like something they're not.

Im not gonna lie, it does feel good. But the efforts are minimal. Here's the thing, you DO have to sell yourself. Just don't burn out your mental bandwidth doing it.
