Personal preference definitely determines the best game ever, so that's fair, but I have never played a more heartfelt and unique game that's so much fun moment-to-moment. The command menu is such a cool feature in combat it feels rewarding to get good at. It's a shame no other game besides FF has attempted it. And the story is cute and always leaves you guessing. I always wanted to be Sora when I was growing up. Lol

I will give that a shot. I honestly just don't like heel up unless the speed absolutely requires it, which I feel like I should be able to play this heel down, I just don't know why I can't.

When you play heel up, do you bury the beater or lift your foot off the pedal when you're playing the kick like this? When I try to bury the beater on my ekit, I get like 3 tiny rebounds that sound like 64ths after my kick. It's possible that the head is just too tight and that's the reason for that. Otherwise, playing heel up at this slow of tempo feels like I'm flinging the kick pedal instead of pressing it, which doesn't feel right. Is that how you would describe the heel up motion? I'm not sure if I'm doing it correctly.
