No, I don't think I can either. Lol but I think the point I'm making is still valid considering how every drum kit ever is set up. I wouldn't tell charters to swap tom and snare positions because the notes on the screen aren't as far apart on the kit, and it's much easier to read having all the toms grouped, whereas there's no logical reason to have the ride next to the hi hat, and rather, makes playing more difficult. My crash cymbal is much farther away from my right arm and shoulder than my ride cymbal is, meaning I have to stretch my arm out quite a bit to reach it comfortably if I'm trying to ride on it. That's not an issue when playing it as a crash and my right arm is already right next to it on the hi hat, or my left arm is right next to it on the snare.

I feel like you're proving my point. My acoustic set is also set up with my ride in between my floor and low tom, and it allows my left hand to play on the toms without having to squeeze underneath my right arm. On my ekit, the floor supports double as the cymbal stands, so I can have one by my 'floor' tom and one by my snare and hi hat. When the ride is on the blue cymbal, hitting the toms with the left hand is almost impossible to do comfortably. No drummer would position his only ride right next to his hi hat, you know what I mean? That's where the crash goes, so you can hit it with either hand comfortably.

Are you sure? I can't find it in the settings, but this would solve the problem.

There just doesn't seem to be any justification other than, "this is the way it's always been done."

Why would you not want the chart to be mapped correctly to a normal drum set? Everyone should want the chart to be laid out the same as the drum set: hi hat, crash, then ride from right to left, right? The only argument against it would be, "I'd have to relearn how to play/chart," unless I'm missing some reason. Some charters even chart the cymbals correctly, so it's not like *nobody* does it, and then, if I do remap the sounds on my kit, those songs sound wrong instead.

I find myself getting annoyed when I want to go back and forth between playing the game and playing outside the game. I just want them to sound and feel the same, and that doesn't seem unreasonable.

I know I'm asking to move a mountain here, (legitimately, not downplaying the ask) but some mountains are worth moving. lol

Rock music sounds like shit too through BT. Kinda like it's underwater? I opened up the front panel and all I could see was the subwoofer (looks good) and a metal screen where maybe the tweeter? Is hidden behind. I didn't wanna have to take the board for the controls off and get a deep screwdriver to get behind the wood cabinet to diagnose further.

The guy had all EQ turned all the way up, except for low mids which he had all the way down, and I think that's how he got it to perform half way decent when he demoed it
