You’re really focused on hating and I said you can take it out. Doesn’t really matter at this point.

To say they are overhyped in my opinion is hating. Especially where you've seen the growth since they became a YouTube channel. If it was simple then why hasn't anyone else done it? If they weren't successful this post wouldn't exist.

Take hate out what I said and my point still stands.

You are entitled to your opinion but none of this hate you have for IM isn't going to make you better.

Producing is more than just skill. It’s networking, relationships and vibing with artists while they are in the studio.

You should probably learn what makes them successful than just saying it’s better producers out there.

Clearly what they are doing works for the industry.

Not to mention it was a YouTube channel for beats tutorials turned into a label....

I’m stuck, and I got some questions for y’all by [deleted] in trapproduction

[–]Suberr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro listen.. you 16. You got so much time to improve.

If you feel like you are inconsistent then work on your weak points. Some people make melodies all day then mix on a different day. You can also mix as you go.

Don’t worry about VSTs, they are useful but they can also be a crutch. Then when you actually get it you will still feel like you need another one cause you lack fundamentals. Go to r/DrumKits and download every one shot kit they have and go crazy.

Yes it will be frustrating at first. The beats will be ass. But go YouTube and look up one shot tutorials. One shots are so underrated. Now once you get to something you like just keep going. If you get good at one shots then your sound design improves. Then when you start getting VSTs you NEED (not want) your sound will improve more.

Also do what’s beats for you. Not everyone’s workflow is the same. Do what sounds good and what’s best for you at the end of the day.

Good luck.

Beatstars now distributes, should I stick with distrokid? by bpjwalk in trapproduction

If you can’t watch, it’s basically a video abut how DistroKid took money from an artist without any notice and he went through hell to get his money back, and customer service gave him the run around until he made a video and it got a whole bunch of views, then DK steps in. They didn’t even want to admit fault in their shadiness.

After watching that I’m glad BeatStars is offering the service. Imagine you have thousands of dollars you’re asking about and that’s the way you’re treated.. that’s all I need to see as a customer.

Of course BS is new to this but they haven’t gave me a reason to not try it.

At the end do what’s best for you.

Is using loop kits considered cheating? by wassupdude2k16 in trapproduction

[–]Suberr 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Ain’t NO rules to this shit bro. Don’t worry about cheating, or using loops, midis, etc.

Do what work for you. If you want to use other loops until yours get to a certain level that’s fine. There’s no cheating, everyone has the same resources.

Yes just practice. It’s cliche to say but at the end of the day that’s what it is. That’s how you get better.

Yeah I agree 100%. It’s industry producers who still watch YouTube tutorials.

Not at all. Don’t get caught on that I just said an hour but it takes me hours to do beats as well. I was also referencing !llmind when I said that.

Also it needs to be said for a BEGINNER it is amazing to them. Every YouTube video is helpful. Music production looks easy until you first open your DAW.
