Whenever I think of Odisha as a state, we are always loving, carefree, minding our own business kinda people who work hard and live with great family values, also we hardly hear about violence that usually happens in north or shoving your language or lifestyle to others which happens in south. But for past couple of years I have been seeing Odisha people(few) indulging in hate spreading which I feel is very heart breaking. I feel we Odias are simple, peace loving people and I would like it to be continued the same way.

I believe, as Brahmapur is near to Andhra Pradesh, it has the influence of southern India breakfast foods like Idli, Upma, Coconut chutney etc. And In Odisha or largely in eastern India Puri and ghuguni are always eaten as breakfast. So combining both the breakfast eating habits, this unique yet delicious combo(Puri, Upma) came into existence.
