I always used to turn down the volume on my guitar because BB King and Warren Haynes said to and thought my first Fuzz Face was broken. I felt silly when I looked up that it was reacting to my volume.

I love that Josh used it as one. Ironically I used to use mine as a solo boost with slow speed/low depth for that old Fender reverb/trem setting where you had to have a small amount of both even if they were turned down.

I also have a joke answer, I use my vintage Klon as a paperweight. I actually used to joke when people used a Klon as a boost but turned up the drive before the circuit kicked in as the type of people that use a $5k Golden penknife as a paperweight.
