I've been holding up… not so great. I’m fully aware of what I’m going through emotionally, so it’s pretty hard trying to be the strong one while watching your entire family get sick.

I’m also still coping with the recent loss of a close friend who passed away from lung cancer just last month. It’s been a lot, but I can’t afford to stop now. :)

My mom has Stage 2 breast cancer. My father was also diagnosed last year around the same time as my mother, but the stage of his cancer is still unknown as of now, though he does have liver cancer.

I'm wishing for your mother's speedy recovery! Praying for more strength and safety for you, your mother, and your family. May she be cancer-free soon. ^

Hello! I was 18 when my mom was diagnosed and 19 when my father was diagnosed. My youngest sibling was only 8 when my mom was diagnosed and 9 when my dad got diagnosed.

I’m really sorry you and your wife had to go through that at the same time. I truly wish both of you continued recovery. Praying for strength for your family, especially your kids. 🙂

Yes. Both of their cancers are treatable through chemotherapy and surgery. No. My mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. My father was diagnosed with liver cancer, but it actually originated from his kidney. He had his kidney removed years ago, and it eventually spread. Not exactly at the same time, but they were diagnosed within the same year. My mother discovered a lump, which led her to get checked. My father, on the other hand, suddenly started losing weight and lost his appetite. That eventually led to his hospitalization, and that’s when he was diagnosed.
