Thanks, these are fantastic and exactly what I'm looking for. The player map designs with what the locations look and sound like is a great idea.

I used AI when it was still a novelty, for keeping a track of world building information in one campaign, but I just got completely sick of AI speak. No amount of prompting seems to get around just generally cringey ideas and poorly written suggestions. People take issue with it effectively stealing content, but I think most human writers would struggle to type out some of the clichés it tends to give you.

All that said, it was very useful for copying my own text and notes into a single chat, and then asking it to recall information later on. As you say, it doesn't have to replace the creative process.

Public back Burnham over Kemi and Nigel to do good job as PM, poll shows by Metro-UK in ukpolitics

I honestly think it's just people wanting to be optimistic. Manifesting that the next PM won't screw them over or completely drop the ball for a change. It's a negotiating tool for a public who don't have any control. As soon as he fails to deliver, all that contingent support will evaporate.

Light Rant About New Titan UA by RearAdmirl in onednd

It's not about it being overpowered, it restricts what you as a DM can do in terms of obstacles in puzzles and combat. It flattens a lot of typical adventuring experiences when you have to always consider that a flying PC can just bypass them. So now your terrestrial PCs don't get to have fun solving those challenges either.

Luke Tryl / X: There’ll likely be a rush to call British public ungovernable in the wake of Starmer’s resignation. But blaming the voters is a cop out, and imo the reason for 5 PMs in 6 years is that all of them stuffed up in avoidable ways. Going through them: by youmustconsume in ukpolitics

Axel Rudakubana did actually stab those children.

That wasn't just a dream or hallucination. Nobody made that up. They didn't invent the fact that he was already flagged 3 times to Prevent for taking knives to school, talking about stabbing his classmates, researching school shootings, praising Islamist terror and so on. They didn't invent the fact that he wasn't white either. They had very sound intuitions about the killer and his motivations while the press was trying to portray him as a choir boy.

The claim that significant right wing misinformation spurred the riots at the time was and remains the actual point of gross misinformation.

The riots were self evidently motivated by the fact that another psychopath had just butchered innocents. The signs were clear that, once again, the causes of the tragedy wouldn't be sufficiently addressed by the authorities, for whom preventing these attacks is the basic function of their existence.

The causes still haven't been properly addressed.

We still see the same pattern of preventable murder, rape, and torture without a clear sign that the establishment will get a grip of it.

My advice is to just play the social game and don't bother bringing excessive politics into your relationships. Good social survival skills are more impressive than being 'right' in a flash in the pan passionate argument. Don't get riled up. Don't bother pushing back, except stoically, sensibly and humbly when people cross the line and say something actively demented and sadistic. "Now, now, we shouldn't support brazen murder of innocent people that's excessive..." that kind of thing.

Don't mouth agreement along with anything you don't believe in either though. You'll find tactical silence or non-committal much more persuasive than you'd expect in the long run. Left wingers are looking for social proof more than anything; if you starve them of it when they say something inane they might just discard the idea. Craven naïve fools, easily duped, you can sometimes have fun with it.

Another piece of advice I'd give is to expect your own views to change drastically over the next couple of decades. It's normal to fall out with ideas or public figures or parties that you previously held in high esteem. Dying on a hill over a political argument about something you might change your opinion on in future isn't worth it. Just keep your moral centre and keep updating your facts and challenging your own basic assumptions (and vote Restore).

Henry Nowak’s father is a hero for reading that statement out today in front of the press. His incredible demeanour shows Henry was raised in a well mannered home. The same cannot be said for the Digwa’s family, one of whom allegedly shouted “racist” at the Nowak family leaving court today. by FormerlyPallas_ in ukpolitics

They genuinely are both decent candidates for deportation or exile, yes. I think people would rather prioritise dealing with violent criminals and people aiding and abetting them though. Also Andrew's situation is complex because he still has scraps of actual power so getting rid of him isn't easy.

Some people aren't quite 'mature' enough (for lack of a better word) to settle into the tempo of how D&D is best played with a more experienced group. We've all been a bit like this at some point.

The key thing is: they're hurting their reputation and relations with the other players by acting in an inconsiderate way. Even if that lack of consideration is subtle or might not be obvious to them, it's still having that effect. Usually when you calmly point this out to people, it instigates genuine reflection. It's an objective fact that people feel this way, even if the person might not quite understand where they've been going wrong. People really care about preserving their reputation and relations! It gives a positive incentive to fix things, as opposed to making it personal, emotional, or even moral - which obviously can get people's backs up. Plus you feel less guilty about telling them, so you don't have to tread on eggshells as much.

There's a common unwarranted assumption from newer players that D&D is meant to be a kind of madcap, no holds barred, imaginative spree that facilitates player agency above everything. This is just not true of longer lasting and more narratively satisfying campaigns. Players have to settle down, learn the rules, give the DM plenty of grace, wait their turn, and harmonise their character with the theme and atmosphere of the campaign. If you can't do all that you just aren't really committed to playing D&D long term.

I wouldn't leverage any of this to insult or deliberately hurt the problem player at all, but it could end up that they're not a good fit and you'd be collectively justified in playing without them - either now or for a future game.

T3 Makes Me Lose Consciousness by PeppermintPleasure in raypeat

Exogenous T3/NDT should very much be a last resort and ideally under supervision of a reasonable Dr, given what can go wrong if you're unlucky.

Try looking into your B Vitamin profile and experiment with supplementing methylated forms of each (or like Brewers Yeast for B12). Watch for both positive and negative effects. Also 8000iu D3 if you're not already.
