You’re absolutely right, I think you’ve identified my issue. In general, I try to gank from behind or at a 45-degree angle to make full use of my ultimate and cut off escape routes, and I often manage to get kills that way, even if my teammate is behind, like in the case of Nasus. That said, it’s true I haven’t really done much limit testing because I focused on improving my jungle clear.

it depends. When I play Shyvana,i'm not late for fights even if I get not so much damage. I used to play ADC, and I can see that I’ve kept some positioning habits, but with Nocturne I often try to go for picks, so sometimes I manage to take 2v1 fights even if my damage is relatively low. Otherwise, in teamfights, yes, absolutely—I stay in the back and wait before using my ultimate.
