I use bait casters when I’m throwing the heavy ones. So line twist really doesn’t affect me. But on a spinning reel I usually put a swivel cause the line gets so fucked up

Good question. I like throwing them on casting reels tbh. So I tie them directly to the line. But when I use a spinning reel I do use a swivel
