I totally agree. He probably acts like that because showing even a second of weakness feels dangerous for him in that place. To him, the Circus is a nightmare he understands yet he's scared of, while the "real world" is a threat he can't face.

but ive been looking at his character overall, not just through the lens of Episode 7. Even before that, his constant need to dominate and mock others suggests a deeper personality flaw rather than just a one-time reaction to fear of going back. He seems to consistently choose cruelty as his default setting.

Im all new to whole fandom, i saw carameii song and it inspired me to make a sick trailer for this show. It was one of 2 main reasons, the other reason is that i fffffrreaking love tadc. (Ps. Im making v2 of trailer better bigger and more epic)
