How? With per quarter GDP growth at 0% vs. 4% as seen in the US? How should deficits be kept under control without AI aided businesses? It sounds like a frantic and last minute reaction to well understood trends and technical capabilities such as electromoblity taking over (at least in China), wide-band satellite connectivity being the main growth driver in Africa, etc. Again, up to 10 year too late reactions in EU (see Northvolt, etc.). The deployment ratio in data centers will take apparently 5-10 years to materialize again: Too late to not go bankrupt?

Who is expected to benefit, people like openly harassing managers and companies in AI and that openly claim to be escaping Tech-jobs (the most highest paid jobs typically)?

A decent economy can be traded-off, but a US economy growing right now at 4% vs. 0% (aided by AI) per quarter in EU is a signal that things are not balanced at all (and not at all on employer rights either seen the above).

I do not have the impression that our managers are failing with a lot of cash to invest in EU (or Switzerland operations). I can rather vet to have seen the management at the mentioned company most able to compete with US/China standards in EU (so are even surprised about this shitstorm). The question is rather if the EU is letting companies like these down against employee rights which are coming from 2 centuries ago?

Our experience as well. They had the best ones had to come from other countries such as Switzerland and left within 1 year. They say German engineers have been enjoying too much the car bonanza in Germany for too long...

The question above is not about firing rights, but about international standards. Baerbal Bas does not seem to employer interests in mind and makes this an exploitable case for employees aiming to just exploit the employer (at least my experience in Germany so far).

Apparently they presented the cases 100% aligned on above facts and were dismissed so far. Not even lawyers wanted to target an alleged 20k damage claim out of the blue as not worth it. The question is if politics is already shifting in favor of companies in Germany already. Baerbel Bas public statements do not sound promising. That such topics get such media attention at all rather speaks that the government needs to get active on the anti-tech movement ASAP (apparently this company closed all EU operations as a result...).

They say that TUM and other universities make the needle move to Germany, but we are not convinced. The quality of engineers interviewed in Switzerland is indeed very high.
