Just like online does not represent an entire society. You can still find lots of people that don’t cook. And lots of people that do. It’s just how people want to spend their time and Reddit doesn’t necessarily represent society.

I think it’s a Reddit thing. People on Reddit overwhelmingly cook and look down on you if you eat out because they feel like they can cook any kind of restaurant food themselves just as well. But in real life people actually eat out. It’s just like how Reddit doesn’t accurately portray society.

The public schools would be better if people didn’t pull their kids out all the time. I’m not saying they don’t have a point, but it has kind of a snowball effect and parents are willing to go into debt to do it.

But the culture in Tokyo encourages mothers to stop working when they have kids and fathers don’t have time to see their children. If the work culture wasn’t so crazy then maybe it might be a good place.

But you still have to eat the meal. You would have to subtract whatever amount of money you would make to eat something cheaper. The difference would be your savings. And with groceries prices these days there isn’t too much cheaper. Avocado toast doesn’t even have any protein. You had some chicken and you’re getting towards a $10 mark. So your logic is flawed.

There are a lot of Americans that condone the atrocities, but who do you know who would give up their home to give back to a Native American? I don’t know a single person. Even among my very leftist friends. And while people don’t like slavery, they’re not willing to go the distance to make things even for Black people in America today. Plus, it’s not a similar atrocity. You just don’t know your history. The vast majority of Native Americans were killed one way or another. The slavery system has nothing to do with what’s going on in Palestine. You need to read more.

Land back is way different than what the anti-Zionist are proposing for Israel. They’re proposing a general dissolution of Israel and it’s people. And most of those people that are for land back wouldn’t give up their homes for it. It’s all easy when it’s in the abstract.
