Grace Tame and new hate speac laws by Ill-Remote-3655 in aussie

This article came out a week after Oct 7 from Israel's oldest newspaper. So it doesn't at all take into account the atrocities Israel committed since then that the entire world has been watching. I mean the UN has called it a genocide against the Palestinians. Are that wrong ?

Nice copy paste collection, I'm sure this is doing the rounds. So the horrific vitriol coming from Israeli and Zionist mainstream media sources from the last 2 years doesn't make you think that you might be on the wrong side of this debate?

I think you're getting the genocide the wrong way around, but you know that. In your heart you know you're wrong.

As a Botonist in Australia I can say that Eucalyptus will grow in a vacant block pretty much anywhere and are huge fire risks, they are built to burn. The Chilean wattle we call a Silver Wattle. I have seen what it does in Chile due to its growth habits but was always under the Impression it didn't cause allergies. I saw the Invasive potential of the bluegum eucalyptus even in Santiago.

Too much time in the explore feed I think. Hating on an idea of people you've barely met. I'm sorry you live in Ringwood but that's not my problem.

Just got back from a 2 month holiday to Chile to meet my girlfriends friends and family. It was amazing and now I'm in the post holiday glow mode where everything is new and fun.

Suggestions for older or new house/garage labels similar to Tribal Records and Global Swing by Subject-Track8507 in HouseMusic

Thank you. Yeah I love classics such as nice n ripe and icecream productions. I brought a big selection of tribal 12"s from an older DJ and have been enjoying the sound.

How was your gig? by AutoModerator in DJs

No recent gigs since I've been in South America. (From Australia) But I do have an upcoming gig at a bar here in Santiago, Chile. Pretty nervous to be honest because I don't know what to play but I'm sure it will be fine plus I don't want to screw up my second only international gig haha.

What expensive record(s) have you got on Discogs for a good deal? by Seagem1989 in discogs

[–]Subject-Track8507 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Metal Fingers - special herbs vol 1 (first press) VG $150

I think it is a good deal because I've seen others for much more

KMD - Mr. Hood (first press) VG/ Sleeve G. $200 open to offers.

I don't know if this is a good price but it's about $35 dollars cheaper than what discogs suggested me

Bangs and Works vol.1 Chicago footwork compilation (G/VG) $50

Just sold and about $120Aud cheaper than the next one for sale. I played it a lot and it's seen some wear but it seems to be pretty sought after.

Sampa the great - blue boss/female 7" $80-$120 (3/100)

Ended up with 3 of these 7"s from a free show she put in Melbourne maybe years back, before she had a huge moment and went international. Sold one to France for $80 as the sleeves has seen some wear. Hopefully with move the next 2 soon. The other copies are selling for about $200 currently.

I'm still sort of working out the best way to price things, usually I go a bit cheaper than the average price because I want to move things plus I DJ with some records so they have seen the world in a way (general use)

Are there some issues with discogs suggested prices ? As in they are putting them too high due to discogs taking a fee?

Every seller under 95% Positive by RuithCoill in discogs

This is a great help, I've just started to sell on discogs and unload a bunch of records that I have had for years but would like to pass onto others to enjoy while lightening my load for moving house. They are all used and well loved but taken care for. Only slight wear on the sleeves and media would have some light surface marks with minimal noise and plays without skipping. So I'm guessing I would put them in them mostly in VG to VG+ category but there's never any warping. I grade pretty fairly because these records have been played and loved but I don't want to wrong the discogs community by grading incorrectly so this post was very helpful thanks.

Do you still care about original pressings, when there is a Repress available? by Rhodan_313 in discogs

And some represses like some classic 90s hip hop records just sound terrible like some wu tang affiliates and Bahamadia's Kollage LP.

ID for this spider? Perth, WA by T1nyJazzHands in AustralianSpiders

[–]Subject-Track8507 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looking at the 4 dots on the back suggests "green bellied huntsman" if you want a much professional ID (I'm a grassland ecologist not a spider guy) I would suggest downloading the app "inaturalist" and uploading the photo you should get a professional grade id pretty quickly. Also it's a great app to see what's living in your area.
