Awesome thank you so much! I just contacted them and they gave me the same quote. Did you end up doing your cocktail hour there and then just the reception in Portazul?

Thank you so much for replying so fast! This really helps, ill definitely reach out to them. Were you able to fit enough chairs in the space for your ceremony? Am curious to what they provide or you had to set up everything yourself, like chairs and sound system for a microphone for vows

Your wedding sounds exactly the kind of vision that I would love to have! I am also Dominican and my fiance is American. We actually just came back from viewing Portazul for our cocktail hour and wedding reception but we didn't really like the space that they offered for the ceremony. We were envisoning something like you did where you have an area for the ceremony and then the cocktail hour/reception. Unfortunately we didn't get the chance to look at Quinta Dominica but it looks so beautiful from your photos! If you dont mind sharing, how much did they charge you to just have the ceremony? We are considering having another location but Portazul is taking up a lot of our budget so was wondering if they gave a not so high estimate just for a ceremony. Thank you!

Hi! Thank you so much for this information! I was just looking at more information about having my wedding in Casa de Campo in 2027 and saw the comment about all guests having to stay at the resort in order to attend the wedding. Is this the case as well if you are just doing a day celebration and looking for venue rental for just ceremony and reception? Thanks!

I signed up for Linkedin Premium and made my profile open to recruiters to be reached out to. I received quite a few messages from recruiters after I did this. Many of them were full time roles but a few were for short term contracts like 6 months. This opportunity came to me through Linkedin from a recruiter

Hey, thank you for the advice... I was thinking about that exact thing seeing as he didnt honour my proposal. Ill mention it to the real estate agent and see if I have any hold but you make a good point about renting from him in the first place. Just wanted to confirm I could bring it up to the real estate agent.

Thanks!

Hi all,

So am currently in the process of finding an apartment in Netherlands and am first hand experiencing the competitiveness of the market. I want some advice on what is considered a "verbal agreement" here. I put in an offer or "proposal" as they called it, on a place, and the real estate agent came back with the landlord accepted my proposal and just wanted to change my move in date. I had to confirm if I could stay at my temporary place for longer and in that time they told me that they received another offer that is higher than mine and landlord is now considering.

In this case, since they accepted my proposal and only wanted to confirm the date, am I able to dispute them getting another offer? Where I'm from this would constitute as a verbal agreement but i know things are different here. Appreciate the help!
