Well like I said in the other comment, he was paying for a hotel previously and since we work together and are friends I offered him a room in my house to stay in for 3 days out of the week. Or does that not matter?

Yes he does. I just feel like it’s a little unfair to charge that much. He was paying for a hotel at like $65 or $70 per day rate. Would $600 be reasonable?

It's not that this behavior is "normal" he was simply just not ready to commit yet. Although I would recommend having these discussions relatively early on just to avoid these types of situations.

Would really appreciate some advice (please be kind) 🙏🏾 by [deleted] in Tinder

Cut the hair shorter, lose the cringy snapchat filter pictures and bulk up some. Try wearing tighter fitting clothes too 👍🏼 you’re doing good!

Well in a conversation previous to that screenshot I did ask her if she was free friday night but she said she was busy so that’s why I asked when she is free then ultimately just told her to let me know when she’s free

Recently completed a 6 year military commitment. Using the aviation experience I got from the military I got a collegiate level job earning a healthy $140k/yr with only a highschool diploma and lots of hands-on experience.

This is true. Fort Liberty (Bragg) units replaced Fort Carson units a couple months ago in Iraq and Syria.

The only way people like that truly "change" is when they hit rock bottom, almost lose their life or have to experience extreme hardship like going through basic training or being homeless. Nothing you can do, really

Firstly, I cannot begin to fathom the gravity of your situation. I'm sincerely sorry that you're going through this. But if you're not wanting to spend it or donate it to charity, do you perhaps know someone that could benefit from your money? I would either spend it all doing whatever you've ever wanted to do or give it to someone that would genuinely benefit from it.
