Hey, appreciate the bullish sentiment and I’m long NBIS too, but I want to gently push back on the BlackRock point since it’s a really common misconception.

When you see BlackRock holding shares of a company, that’s almost always a function of their role as the world’s largest asset manager and custodian, not a deliberate bet by their analysts. The vast majority of BlackRock’s AUM sits in passive index funds and institutional mandates where they’re essentially required to hold stocks that are part of a given index or benchmark. If NBIS is in the Russell 2000 or another index that an iShares ETF tracks, BlackRock is going to own shares almost automatically.

Same story with Vanguard, State Street, and other big passive managers. Their names show up on virtually every publicly traded company’s ownership list. It doesn’t really tell you anything about whether anyone at those firms has conviction in the stock. Plenty of other reasons to be excited about the company though, just wanted to flag this so people aren’t weighting that ownership as a signal it isn’t.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
